Art projects

The Karl Max Kessler Archive sees itself as the living memory of the Kleinwalsertal. It preserves not only Karl Max Kessler’s historical photographs but also draws on them to develop new impulses for the present and future. In collaboration with artists, schools and local partners, projects are created each year that connect history, nature and community.
Whether exhibitions, workshops or artistic interventions – each project builds a bridge between past and present and reveals how closely cultural heritage, landscape and the creative shaping of the future are interwoven.
