Dabei entstanden tausende Negative, die Menschen, Landschaften und Traditionen des Tals zeigen. Lange Zeit blieben diese Bilder unbeachtet und gelagert.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"630\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Seine Enkel*innen Bettina und Mathias Kessler entdeckten das Archiv in einem stark besch\u00e4digten Zustand wieder und beschlossen, es zu retten. 2021 gr\u00fcndeten sie einen Verein, um die Fotografien zu restaurieren, zu digitalisieren und f\u00fcr die Zukunft zu bewahren.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"874\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Die Bilder erz\u00e4hlen vom Wandel des Kleinwalsertals: von einer b\u00e4uerlich gepr\u00e4gten Gemeinschaft hin zu einer beliebten Ski- und Tourismusregion. Sie zeigen Alltag, Arbeit, Feste \u2013 aber auch, wie Landschaft zur wirtschaftlichen Ressource wurde.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"1141\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Heute geht es im Karl Max Kessler Archiv nicht nur darum, die Fotografien zu erhalten, sondern sie gemeinsam mit der Bev\u00f6lkerung neu zu lesen, einzuordnen und weiterzuerz\u00e4hlen.
